This is the bottled version of Harveys Traditional Draught Sussex Bitter. It is the most popular of all our bottled beers. Awarded first prize at the Intenational Brewers' Exhibition in 1976, this Premium Pale Ale is "dry hopped" during the period of maturation prior to being bottled.

A strong, old style India Pale Ale reminiscent of the ales exported across the globe by British breweries during the early 19th Century. It has a full hop aroma, golden body and tight head. The bitterness lingers on the palate giving a dry finish.

India Pale Ale (IPA) is brewed to a lower original gravity and this beer undergoes a similar process of maturation to the Blue Label. The result is a lighter, more mellow ale with a distinctive hop character.

A premium bottled beer originally brewed as No.1 Brown. It was renamed Exhibition Brown Ale due to the number of awards it gained at succesive International Brewers' Exhibitions. This is Harveys bottled popular winter brew (Old Ale) and we renamed it in 1999 to avoid confusion. This dark, full-bodied beer combines sweetness and strength to produce an exceptionally smooth palate for a discerning public.

A dry, heavily hopped strong pale ale with an extremely light colour. Originally commissioned by the National Maritime Museum for the quarter centenary celebrations of the defeat of the Spanish Armada by Sir Francis Drake. Harveys were requested to continue production by numerous devotees.

We have taken a Porter recipe of 1859 from Henry Harvey's brewing journal and reproduced it faithfully using pale ale, malt, crystal malt, black malt, locally grown hops, our own spring water and yeast strain.This dark brew was first in its class and overall runner-up at the 1995 GBBF at Olympia.

Brewed to commemorate the bicentenary of Thomas Paine's "The Rights of Man". It is thought that Paine help draft the American Declaration Of Independence. Elizabethan Ale (8.1% ABV) 24 bottles 275ml
Originally brewed to mark the Queens Coronation in 1953, this golden barley wine proved so popular that it has been brewed ever since. It is comparable in strength to the beer produced by Tudor brewers during the reign of Elizabeth I. It has won many prizes and, at the International Brewers Exhibition 1968, was awarded the Championship Gold Medal. Regular drinkers simply asked for a Lizzie.
