Boutari Retsina 12 bottles

Boutari Retsina 12 bottles
In ancient Greece, wine was stored in clay amphoras, sealed with pine resin. Inevitably the wine took on the flavour of the resin. Ancient Greeks simply got used to it and today the traditional taste of retsina is achieved by the addition of a small amount of resin. The main grape used in production is Savatiano from Attica in central Greece.

Boutari’s retsina has a comparitvely subtle aroma and is especially suited to drink (well chilled) with Mediterranean Tapas or Greek Mezze and seafood.
