| Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Product List, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into your shopping basket.After you have finished your selection, click on Add to Cart. Then to view your selection click on 'View Cart'. When you have finished your selection click on 'Checkout', where we will need to take a few details to satisfy the order.We accept the following forms of payment:Visa Credit, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, Mastercard, Maestro, Amex, Diners, JCB, Solo (UK only), Laser and ELV.All purchases are processed securely via worldpay. http://www.worldpay.com Harveys will not supply alcohol to persons under the age of 18 and Harveys will not be held responsible for any such purchases as this has been stated clearly within our Terms and Conditions.When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, if we accept it and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. | Shipping And Handling Product prices shown do not include Postage but do include Packaging.Where a courier service is used, usually in the case of larger/heavier items, we will send them via Parcelforce. When an order is placed and the correct email address supplied, Parcelforce will send an email including your tracking number, please use this to trace items at http://www2.parcelforce.com/track-trace However please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any concerns regarding your order.Local delivery - We no longer offer a local delivery service due to complications within the order process.All larger parcels (including cases of bottled beer and wine) that are despatched in England, Wales and Scotland will cost £7.95 per item.Scottish Highland orders will cost £12.95 per item.Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Scilly are £17.95 per itemFor smaller items, e.g. Harveys memorabilia, you have the option to send via First and Second Class post. | Delivery Schedule All orders are processed the day after they are received. Therefore an item being sent via courier ordered on Monday will be put out for delivery on Tuesday and be delivered on Wednesday (unless otherwise specified in the ordering process) Orders placed on a Friday with our Next day Delivery Service will arrive on the following Tuesday. We do not offer a Saturday or weekend delivery service.United Kingdom Delivery Options:Parcelforce Next Day delivery Orders will arrive the day after they are despatched. (0-30kg-larger items)Royal Mail First Class Post Please allow up to 7 working days for delivery. Small items only.(0-4kg add £3.05 for every 2kg thereafter)Royal Mail Second Class Post. Please allow up to 10 working days for delivery. Small items only.(0-1kg no excess)We also offer a customer collect service from either of our shops in Lewes or Midhurst. Please allow 48hours before collection. Please note that you may be asked to collect your items from our Depot instead of the shop as the shop will be incredibly busy. We will email all customers to notify them before collection. |
| Back Orders If your item is not in stock, or available only at certain times of the year, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. |
| Tax Charges 20% VAT is included in the price of the Harveys Bottled Beers and Shipping Charges. |
| Credit Card Security All Credit Card or Debit Card purchases made at Harveys Online are processed by WorldPay via their own fully secure systems. Harveys do not see or handle your card details. We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted within the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site. |

| Returns Policy Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at http://www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htmIf, for any reason, you are not happy with your order then please contact us at our Depot (+44 01273 480157) and we will arrange with you for the return of your order and to resolve any problems.Merchandise:Please return any merchandise to our Depot and any unsuitable merchandise in good condition. We will always do our best to resolve any issues with items and replace or refund items when possible. Harvey and Son Lewes (ltd) retain the right to refuse refunds or exchanges on items that have been worn or degraded through use.Bottled Beers:Damage in transit should you experience any breakages in transit then please contact us at the Depot as soon as possible. Please remember to always check items before they are signed for.Polypins:Please contact us as soon as possible at the Depot if your Polypin has not arrived in time. If there are any issues with quality and the beer has been stored correctly, as directed on the Polypin's page, and is within it's shelf-life we will arrange for the beer to be collected so it can be tested in our quality control unit. |
